First run skiing on Saturday. The bumps were in great shape. The sun was out full blast. It was about 24F. No crowds at the ticket counter or the gondola. Guess it was a travel day or a Christmas thing. Obviously some people have their priorities messed up. Oh well Julie was not complaining.

Sheila wasn't complaining either. The bumps/trees off Storm Peak by Flying Z were just great. Not sun struck or wind blown at all.

Group pic at the top of Mt Werner. You use to have to climb it. Now there's a freakin lift.

A little bit of sunshine behind Julie over by Chute 1.

Tree skiing Julie style (aka Ryan style, he taught her). You follow these convoluted trails through dense evergreens. It's actually kind of cool. It teaches you how to turn where you need to. Kind of like running gates, except the poles are bigger. The snow was excellent. Here's Julie leading the way-

Here's  Ed making sure Sheila's still back there.

Ah- There's Sheila, haven't lost her yet. She's just too smart. She likes the trees also, just as long there's no steep, rocky hills (some people call these cliffs) mixed in there . Hey it's all natural terrain- you gotta take it how it comes.
